Treat yourself to a little slice of heaven when you add this beautiful Dianthus to your landscape. The American Pie Series is bred for blooms that are carried on sturdy stems that do not flop. They are great for picking and long lasting cut flowers. ‘Cherry Pie’ features large, rich deep red blooms above a tidy, compact mound of silver foliage. The blooms are fresh, unique, and fun. They also have a delectably spicy scent. It’ll bloom from early summer to early fall. Butterflies and other beneficial pollinators will be especially pleased.

Growing in a dense mound 8 to 12 inches tall and about a 8 to 12 inches wide, the Cherry Pie Dianthus is ideal for use as an accent, in groupings, or in mass plantings in sunny landscape borders and on slopes. Its smaller size makes it an excellent candidate as a solo or mixed with other plants in pots, planters and other containers.
